Aksi unjuk rasa dengan membawa replika telepon genggam tersebut  dimaksudkan untuk menyindir kebijakan Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono  yang akan membekali para TKI yang akan bekerja keluar negeri dengan  telepon genggam. Selain Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, demo ini juga melayangkan kritik pada\u00a0 Muhaimin Iskandar, Mentri Tenaga Kerja &amp; Transmigrasi, dan Linda Gumelar, Menteri Pemberdayaan Perempuan &amp; Perlindungan Anak. Pemerintah Indonesia diminta memasukkan hak informasi dan komunikasi bagi buruh migran dalam nota kesepahaman atau perjanjian bilateral dengan negara-negara tujuan buruh migran.
